Evolving from a more simple design. This vault door project is based on the new age of vault door design.
The creation of this door was a weekend project. inspired by videos online and a spur of boredom, I made the initial idea. A simple rotating assembly with slots to control pins. This evolved into making the full ball and socket vault door. getting the interference fit correct on the pins took a few tries, but I persisted and made a functioning vault door.
